Administration: Inject subcutaneously or intramuscularly. Because doses are in the hundreds of milligrams, injection volumes are larger than typical peptides — split volumes over 1.0 mL across two sites. Glutathione solutions should be clear; discard if discolored.

Reconstitution Steps

  1. Allow the vial to reach room temperature (15–20 minutes out of cold storage).
  2. Draw 3.0 mL bacteriostatic water with a sterile syringe.
  3. Inject slowly down the vial wall to avoid foaming.
  4. Gently swirl or roll until fully dissolved (do not shake).
  5. Label with date and concentration; refrigerate at 2–8 °C, protected from light.

Result: 200 mg/mL concentration

How This Works

Glutathione neutralizes reactive oxygen species directly and serves as a cofactor for antioxidant enzymes (glutathione peroxidases). It also conjugates toxins and drug metabolites in the liver, making them water-soluble for excretion.
